Besides flaunting a fresh new styling, an energetic streamlined look and overall dimensions that are large for a car in its class, the ALMERA cuts a powerful and sporty silhouette on the roads. And true to its Japanese heritage and innovative engineering, the ALMERA is all about ‘cents’ and sensibility with its superb fuel efficiency. By building the car on the all-new ultra lightweight yet rigid platform, the designers at Nissan were able to drastically reduce the weight of the ALMERA (between 15 – 55kg lighter than its rivals!), thereby reducing engine workload to achieve even better fuel efficiency. Packaged with an advanced fuel efficient 1.5L all-aluminium HR15DE engine that is lightweight and quiet in operation, the ALMERA’s fuel consumption is an impressive 6.3L/100km*.
