SPORTS LIFESTYLE

Research and personal observations can tell us that children are living a more sedentary lifestyle than the previous generation and exercising less than ever before. High-density living, extra academic pressures and the enticement of ‘cool’ IT gadgets with electronics games are contributing reasons. There is also a direct relationship between children who do not exercise regularly and obesity in adulthood. So we owe it to our children to encourage them to live an active, healthy lifestyle while they are still young.

That’s why it’s a timely move for D’Growing Hands to kick off a sport initiative termed the “Young Warrior Challenge” - a structured programme to develop on ABCS (Agility, Balance, Coordination & Strength) of your kids. This curriculum, planned by a team of fitness professionals, is a structured programme infused with plenty of fun and variety in every session.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT, BALLET & MODERN DANCE KIDS PROGRAMME

In D’Growing Hands’ Creative Movement, Ballet & Modern Dance programmes, you can look forward to great sessions for young children to explore movement through music and interaction with peers.

These programmes help the children develop their gross motor skills, social skills, creativity and at the same time, allow them to learn and understand their bodies.

In addition, the students learn the importance of balance and body coordination. Children develop aesthetic experience through learning by adopting roles as a dancer, observer and creator.

MY 1ST 3DTM

MY 1st 3DTM Programme coaches children aged 5 to 16 with a firm belief that early exposure to broad-based learning can make a huge difference when they grow up.

D’Growing Hands programmes use LEGO® Education’s 4-C approach, together with its own materials to guide the children. Connect-Construct- Contemplate-Continue is the four-step framework to suit the next generation of learners. On top of that, every programme allows children to think in line with real-life situations, ask questions and find solutions to answer the questions they love to ask.

Most importantly, MY 1st 3D Programme allows children to grasp the concept of computer programming and robotics early. This naturally equips them with the necessary skills to get them ready for the digital world.
