Affiliated to the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), Island Taekwon-Do Centre aims to develop Taekwon-Do as both a martial art and a healthy sport. Affiliated to Hapkidowon - World Hapkido Headquarters, members strive to maintain a harmonic balance in their daily life.

Self-Defence, Confidence And Fitness 

Taekwon-Do is the art of kicking and punching. Hapkido is a traditional Korean martial art for self-defence that employs joint locks, pressure points, kicking techniques, striking techniques, throwing and locking techniques. The fully equipped air-conditioned martial arts training facility at Island Taekwon-Do Centre and Sun Hapkido Academy Singapore offers Taekwon-Do training on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and Hapkido on Wednesdays and Fridays. Both Taekwon-Do and Hapkido improve the learners’ self-defence techniques, confidence and fitness.

Master Daniel Sng, the Chief Instructor of Island Taekwon-Do Centre and Sun Hapkido Academy Singapore, is a highly qualified international instructor in the arts of Taekwon-Do and Hapkido. Master Sng has helped the students to understand the niceties of these martial arts by organising various seminars and courses. He has formally organised two Taekwon-Do Grandmaster Seminars for his students in Singapore. Many students of Island Taekwon-Do Centre and Sun Hapkido Academy Singapore have been trained and prepared for seminars, tournaments and championships world wide.
