Children with learning difficulties often face huge challenges as they go through school life. The effects of dyslexia, autism and ADHD/ADD can be devastating as they often feel inadequate, have low confidence and self esteem. Hence, in the process, they cannot keep pace with their peers and are often left behind.


CDLC recognises the child’s unique challenges and its goal is to equip them with the right skills and a ‘can do’ attitude so that they can keep at pace with mainstream school curriculum.


All students will first go through its established assessment system to determine their academic capabilities. We further review the specialist report and discuss with parents on the child’s specific requirements.


Based on information gathered and results of the assessment, it establishes the child’s Individualised Education Plan and the child’s level of improvements over the next 3 and 6 months.


To aid the child’s success and accelerate the learning progress, CDLC provides a positive and enriching learning experience using a pastoral environment, qualified ex-MOE special needs trained teachers and leveraging on the state-of-the-art tools that are engaging and fun. Additionally, being an MOE registered school, it closely follows the mainstream school syllabus.


At CDLC, the children will enjoy the benefit of a professionally designed environment, small teacher to student ratio (no greater than 6 pupils per teacher), Individual education programs, continuous building of self-esteem and their ability to learn autonomously. They will also be taught to develop necessary skills through the application of proven educational strategies. As parents play a key role in the child’s progress, CDLC works hand-in-hand with them through periodic feedback and discussion sessions and links up with Parent Support groups.


As it recognises the challenges faced by working parents and parents who have logistic issues to enable their children to get the extra help, CDLC offers home-based coaching. Its trained and experienced teachers will use all the necessary tools offered at the centre right at your home.
